Galerías Velvet is seeking a designer

It is the TV series that has made fashion its raison d’être and the 50s and 60s its historical and aesthetic context. Velvet presented, at the Television Festival of Vitoria-Gasteiz, its fourth and final season. A finale in which we will know the outcome of the love story between Ana Ribera (Paula Echevarría) and Alberto Marquez (Miguel Angel Silvestre).

But we will also know the new designer of Galerías Velvet, the mythical place where the TV series takes place. An initiative in which fiction and reality intermingle with fashion of the fifties and sixties being the seal, to provide momentum to young talent the target.

How? Antena 3 offers, alongside MADRID ES MODA, MBFWM and ModaEspaña, the opportunity to participate in designing the first prêt-á-porter collection of Galerías Velvet. The contest is presented on 20th September at IFEMA within the framework of the new edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid and the fashion shows at Samsung Ego, the platform for young fashion talents in Spain.

LOS PROTAGONISTAS DE VELVET

The designs chosen in this contest will be made by local ateliers and will be exhibited in The Event of the Year, as called by Atresmedia, the large deployment of actions that will be developed in connection with the issuance of the fourth and final season of Velvet.
