III rd Edition of Madrid es Moda’s Window Dressing Contest

09/01/2018

The urban fashion festival MADRID ES MODA will give its 6th kick-off this year on January 22nd, and with it, the Window Dressing Contest, already in its 3rd Edition, will be inaugurated. Design schools and professional window dressers of participating businesses will compete in the Professional and Novel categories of the contest, one of the activities with most followers and which generates the festival’s highest expectations.

The window shops participating in the contest will be on exhibit during the days of MADRID ES MODA, from Monday 22nd to Tuesday 30th January. A jury made up of professionals from the fashion sector will choose at the end of this period those that best represent the concept “Spanish Fashion”, according to criteria of quality, commercial image and product presentation, valuing creativity, lighting, modernity and innovation in their staging.

“The special window shops are of vital importance for MADRID ES MODA,” says Pepa Bueno, Executive Director of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME). “They are essential to catch the attention of pedestrians and passers by, and from the Association we give it fair importance by calling this contest.”

If you want to participate, check the rules of the contest here.
