The Association of Fashion Creators of Spain (ACME) boosts Madrid is Fashion, an initiative that aims to dress up the city with creativity and design during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWM). The goal is to add the city to the fashion party, just as this happens in other European capitals of design during their weeks of fashion shows.
Madrid is Fashion presents, during this first edition (from 18th to 22nd September) a series of performances that will transform the city into a catwalk so that the madrileños may live the fashion week and partake of the novelties in Spanish design. A full program of activities with design and creation as the central hub that will complement the schedule of fashion shows of MBFWM.
Exhibitions, discounts, special window shops, intervention of spaces, cultural activities, parties and meetings between fashion and gastronomy are some of the initiatives that form part of this project which aims to extend the spirit of the fashion week to the centre of the city.
