“Manifiesto”, women’s duality by Dolores Promesas

21/03/2025

Dolores Promesas presents at Madrid es Moda its new Spring-Summer 2025 collection, the first under the creative direction of Mexican Jasive Fernández.

“Manifiesto” is a declaration of the duality that defines contemporary women. A woman who faces the challenges of modern society with strength and determination yet at the same time retains her feminine, romantic and sophisticated essence intact.

The creations of this iconic Spanish brand fuses traditionally feminine as well as masculine elements. Materials such as lace, silk, and linen evoke delicacy and femininity, while details such as ties, bow ties, shirt bibs, and cummerbunds represent the strength and masculine side that complements said duality. This blend materialises in flowing sleeves, romantic ruffles, capes, and circular skirts, which interact with structured cuts, precise lines, and a color palette that includes dark ash, crimson, misty gray, and ivory.
