Modesto Lomba inaugurates the cycle of conferences “Málaga de Moda” with a talk-colloquium at the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Engraving in Marbella, attended by designers, entrepreneurs, stylists, specialized journalists and influencers from the area.
This series of conferences is part of the promotion of the new Málaga de Moda brand, promoted by the Provincial Council of Malaga, which was created to support the Malaga fashion industry. It is an initiative that aims to discover the quality and talent behind fashion that is designed and produced in Malaga, a province that has more than 700 companies dedicated to the textile and apparel sector.
Modesto Lomba drew upon his speech to convey his extensive experience as President of ACME as well as presenting the new activities that the Association faces next 2018, year which celebrates 20 years of activity. The designer also spoke about his work at the helm of firm Devota & Lomba, and offered his vision of the evolution of fashion in Spain and the current situation of the sector.[:]
