New Cultural Factory scholarships for EmprendeModa

24/07/2018

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) collaborates with Factoría Cultural, Matadero Madrid’s incubator for the creative and cultural industries, to launch a new edition of EmprendeModa, a support program for entrepreneurship in the fashion and retail industry.

A new open call for up to 10 scholarships is now underway, covering fully and partially the costs of a six-month incubation program, from October 2018 to March 2019. Two projects will receive a 100% residence grant at the Cultural Factory covering the total cost of monthly fees thanks to the support of the General Direction of Cultural Promotion of the Community of Madrid. And the rest of the projects will receive a residence grant in Factoría Cultural amounting to 50% of the total cost of the monthly fee.

The scholarships are aimed at entrepreneurs over 18, of any nationality, who wish to develop a project linked to the world of fashion, including jewellery, accessories, retail and textiles, among others. Among other factors, creative capacity, design, innovation and new business models will be valued.

Factoría Cultural offers a stimulating, interdisciplinary and experimental environment that encourages a personalized learning, exchange and networking with other entrepreneurs in the creative industries.

The deadline for the receipt of proposals ends on September 17th, 2018.
