The Asociación Creadores de Moda de España supports those people who begin their journey into the world of fashion with this initiative, which arose due to the collaboration with Adecco and the Film Academy to promote the work of young designers.

Modesto Lomba, President of ACME; Andrés Aberasturi, Director and Creator of EGO; Tatiana Hernandez, a Member of the Board of the Film Academy in the category of wardrobe, and Margarita Alvarez, Director of Marketing and Communication at Adecco, have partaken of the jury of this competition for young designers and fashion students under 30 years old.

Of the more than 70 nominations received, the jury chose the proposal “Anachronism” by Raquel Gálvez. The young 23 year old from  Zaragoza is a 4th year student of Fashion Design, she has made a design inspired in celluloid and the fashion of the 60s, with simplicity and sobriety as the main rule.

For Modesto Lomba, it is a functional and flattering design. “It is an elegant approach that reflects the great talent of our young creators. In addition, it complies with the essential qualities required for a uniform for a movie gala where glamor pervades everything: comfort and sophistication”, concludes the President of ACME.

Raquel Gálvez receives a € 5,000 cash prize with which she will carry out her dream of making the costume of the two boys and the two girls who play the role of assistant to the givers during the grand gala of Spanish cinema.

The date will be on 9th February in Madrid. José Antonio Valero, Ruben Morher, Yashmin Zamani and Irene Carnero have been chosen to wear the designs. Four young artists selected by Adecco to work during the gala from over more than 3,000 candidates presented.
