Isabel Sanchís presented her Spring/Summer 2026 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, a collection sustained on two pillars: the influence of architectural forms and the essence of Japanese culture. The catwalk becomes thus a space for dialogue between opposing values—tradition and modernity, structure and fluidity, discipline and innovation—which converge in an aesthetic narrative that looks both to the past as well as the future.
Inspired by ash trees and Japanese murals, the collection features fabrics with prints and embroideries that evoke a natural and cultural imagery, reinterpreted with contemporary sensibility. Soft greens, oranges, and pinks adorn flowing dresses and ready-to-wear pieces, where delicate, handcrafted pleats enhance movement.
The finale, characterized by the understated elegance of black and white, reinforces the fashion brand's identity and projects an added experimental vision. Geometric embroideries, seamless, sculpted dresses, and 3D-printed floral motifs interact with silicone garments that evoke timeless quality. The collection thus reaffirms the fruitful tension between the organic and the technological.
An exercise in synthesis between cultural tradition and formal avant-garde, encapsulating the fashion brand's essence in a poetic and contemporary gesture.
