The urban fashion festival MADRID ES MODA presented the awards of its Window Shop Competition during the closing party of its fourth edition at the Hotel Iberostar Las Letras Gran Vía. The event was chaired by the designer Modesto Lomba and presented by Pepa Bueno, President and Director of ACME, respectively. María Concepción Díaz de Villegas, Director General of Trade and Entrepreneurship of the City of Madrid, presented to designer Leyre Valiente the prize for the Best Professional Window Shop. And Marisa Tendero, CEO of the Noa Brands group, which owns the brand Marcelo Vilá, sponsors of the Festival, gave the award for Best Novel Window Shop to Mariana Galbis and Eider Falcón, IED Madrid students.

“We can’t believe it, we did not think it was possible for us to win competing with brands with such a relevant trajectory and resources, it has been a wonderful surprise,” she confesses. Under the terms, Valiente and De Prado will share a prize consisting of a diploma, € 1,000 and a mannequin by Marcelo Vilá. “The mannequin is a great present and I will be really fab to continue creating … the mannequins I have now in the atelier are not very good, nothing to do with the product of Marcelo Vilá,” she says.
