ACME remembers the 16 Spanish creators winners of the Award “Premio Nacional de Diseño”

After the appointment yesterday of Palomo Spain as the 2024 Awardee of the Premio Nacional de Diseño, today we wish to look back and remember the sixteen Spanish fashion creators who have collected this prestigious recognition since 2009.

This important Award, stablished at the request of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, (ACME) to the Ministry of Culture to include within the National Culture Awards one dedicated to fashion to continue to promote and give visibility to the fashion design sector.

ACME was founded in 1998 by Modesto Lomba, Jesús del Pozo, Elio Berhanyer, Antonio Pernas, Ángel Fernández Ovejero (Angel Schlesser) and Roberto Verino. ACME upholds designer fashion brands in and outside Spain, accounting with 95 members that are united by a common objective: to value the crafts, trades and to promote the renewal of tradition ensuring the future of Spanish fashion, unique in the world.
