OMODA Madrid es Moda opens Madrid Fashion Week with a fashion show in Sabatini Gardens

07/09/2026

OMODA Madrid es Moda, a project promoted by the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) with the support of the Madrid City Council through Madrid Capital de Moda, held its inaugural fashion show on Monday, September 7th at 7:00 pm in Sabatini Gardens, next to the Royal Palace.

The runway flowed naturally around the gardens’ central pond, among trees, flowers, and 18th-century statues that surround the lake, with the north façade of the Royal Palace and one of the city’s most iconic sunsets as a backdrop. The fashion show was inspired by the light and hues of the sunsets.

This collective fashion show featured: Adlib Ibiza, Angel Schlesser, Aurelia Gil Novias, Devota & Lomba, Dolores Cortés, Dolores Promesas x Duyos, Dominnico, Eduardo Navarrete, Evade House, Félix Ramiro, García Madrid, IED Madrid, Isla Bonita Moda, It-Spain, Juan Avellaneda x See Iou, Luis Berrendero, Maison Mesa, María Lafuente, Miguel Marinero, Pedro Palmas, Pilar Dalbat, Roberto Torretta, Roberto Verino, The 2nd Skin CO., The Extreme Collection, and We Are Spastor.

From September 7th to 10th, OMODA Madrid es Moda brings Spanish designer fashion to various locations throughout the city: runway shows, performances, exhibitions, presentations, pop-ups, and talks, with over 30 fashion designers, brands, and platforms participating.

In this edition, in addition to the designers who participated in the opening show, we also saw the collections of Carlota Barrera, Gonzales, Helena Rohner, Ogadenia Couture, Oteyza, and the collaboration between Daniel Chong and Eduardo Navarrete.

Also, OMODA Madrid es Moda will host the first cycle of Fashion Thursdays, a monthly networking event promoted by the Foundation Academia de la Moda Española (FAME) and organized by Modaes, with the support of the Ministry of Cultura. A fashion show by students from IED Madrid as well as the presentation of an artistic and social project by ACME designers in collaboration with the NGO Ayuda en Acción.

OMODA returns as the platform’s global partner. Solán de Cabras and Unisa are sponsoring this edition, and the Galileo Cultural Center, managed by the Chamberí District, acted as the operations center and backstage.
