DOMINNICO unveiled, on September 22nd in Madrid, three accessories inspired by Samsung’s new foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip8. These pieces are part of the firm’s Spring ‘27 collection and mark the second collaboration between designer Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro and the tech company.
Each accessory takes as a starting point the proportions and color of each one of the devices, reimagining them on a miniature scale. The Galaxy Z Fold8 becomes a compact, structured belt bag in pistachio satin, featuring multiple compartments. The Fold8 Ultra inspires a lavender satin shoulder bag complete with a chain strap, pockets, and straps. Finally, the Flip8, the smallest of the three, is transformed into a dusty pink belt with an integrated small pocket. Metal hardware and charms on the belt bag and the belt tie the pieces to the firm’s codes.
The collaboration is framed by the “Unfold Your K-Side” concept, positioning Korea—Samsung’s home country—as the meeting point for both brands. DOMINNICO is a genderless, ready-to-wear firm founded in Barcelona in 2016 by Rodríguez Lázaro (Alicante, 1994).
