Mommy Loves presented Isleña, the 2027 collection at Gran Canaria Swim Week. This collection stems from an emotional connection to the Canary Islands and the way in which its landscape, memory, and identity become part of the people who inhabit them.
The collection is built around the idea of belonging. Far from a literal interpretation, Isleña explores those bonds that endure over time and ultimately define a way of seeing, dressing, and relating to the environment. The collection finds inspiration in the ocean, the light, the wind, and the memories associated with island life.
Mommy Loves revisits some of its most recognizable patterns, reinterpreting them from a more refined and mature perspective. The Canarian topography is translated into the collection through textures and materials such as lurex and piqué, which provide structure, shine, and movement while maintaining the lightness that characterizes the collection.
The color palette is directly inspired by the land. Brown, black, cream, blue, and green create a colorful landscape that connects each garment to the archipelago’s geography. On this foundation, the collection celebrates a natural, confident, and conscious femininity, designed to accompany movement and everyday life.
Isleña speaks of places that stay with us even when we are far away. Because some territories end up becoming a way of being in the world.
