Conde Duque hosted the presentation of the platform Madrid Fashion Capital, an initiative of the Directorate General of Trade and Entrepreneurship of the City of Madrid to bring together all the events of fashion, beauty and lifestyle celebrated in the city. A guide to everything that happens in Madrid related to fashion to give visibility, to attract and publicize the most significant proposals, from both public and private entities, that make this city a capital of fashion in the global arena.
The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España supports Madrid Fashion Capital since its inception, an initiative that also features the constituency of various entities such as Ifema, with its trade shows MOMAD Metropolis MOMAD Shoes, MOMAD 1001 Weddings, Madrid Beauty Days, Salon Look and MBFWM; ACOTEX, Trade association of commerce, apparel and accessories; ASECOM, Apparel and Fashion Association of the Community of Madrid; MFSHOW, runway with private funding for the broadcasting of fashion brands within the city centre; Museo del Traje C.I.P.E. and Conde Duque.
Madrid is one of the most dynamic and vibrant cities of our country. Throughout the year hosting many major events through different collectives that work to promote and publicize fashion in the city. An example of this is the program of activities Madrid es Moda, an initiative launched by ACME, which is essential in promoting fashion design in the centre of the capital that next September will hold its third edition.
