Maite Casademunt, -president and creative director of the women's fashion and accessories firm, LOLA CASADEMUNT, has received the “Honorary Award of the Jury” of the “We Leadership Awards” from the Minister of Equality and Feminism of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Honourable Mrs. Eva Menor. for her trailblazing work in the business world. These awards were bestowed in the sixth edition of "Women Evolution" to gain visibility and recognition for female leaders from very diverse business fields committed to diversity and equality in their companies.
“This honorary award is the sum of a lifetime's work, but not only mine, also my mother's. This is why it is an award that I share with her. For me, the formula for success is passion, work, effort and training. All these aspects are fundamental to achieve great things in life and I hope that these recognitions also serve to motivate future generations to fight for their dreams,” said Maite Casademunt, creative director and president of LOLA CASADEMUNT.
These awards were presented within the framework of “WE Barcelona Congress” this past October 3rd in the Auditorium of Esade Campus Sant Cugat de Vallès in Barcelona. This new edition was focused on addressing the main challenges of today's women in health, leadership, technology, business, networking and innovation. A congress that focused its attention on the transfer of knowledge between the female talent of both senior and junior professional women, as well as on making visible the talent of women leaders in different areas of corporate and institutional responsibility as role models for younger women.
