A paradise among light and fabrics

Odette Álvarez presented her "Paraíso" Spring 2026 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The collection celebrates the fashion brand's fifteen-year fashion journey with a tribute to the women who have accompanied the fashion designer along the way, viewing fashion as an intimate language, a way of inhabiting the world with authenticity and freedom. The collection is an emotional journey that traverses between quotidian and exotic, handcrafts and urban, lightness and opulence.

The inspiration is based on three creative universes: the Oriental influence, a constant in the designer's DNA; Art Nouveau's organic ornamentation, and the formal purity of ancient Greece. In this interplay of references, Odette Álvarez proposes a contemporary, handcrafted luxury that finds its strength in contrast, combining tradition and modernity with aesthetic sensitivity.

The silhouettes embrace the body, revealing it through second-skin fabrics, along with linen and poplin that bring a refreshing summer feel. The richness of the collection is enhanced with embellishments such as beading, embroidery, metal appliqués, and beadwork. The color palette oscillates between the luminosity of gold and silver and the vibrancy of pastels—pink, green, turquoise—in balance with earthy tones, such as ivory and chocolate brown. The fashion show's atmosphere evokes an eternal summer: an impromptu setting, lights illuminating the space, and radiant women inhabiting their own paradise.

The collection reaffirms Odette Álvarez's signature style as a territory where beauty unfolds unexpectedly, woven with memory, desire, and the present.
