Air Europa participates for the eighth consecutive year in Madrid Pride 2026 as the official airline of MADO. The airline will travel through the streets of Madrid with a float decorated with a special design created by Daniel Chong.
The designer, founder of his eponymous firm and an ACME associate, has developed a visual concept linked to color, identity, and the freedom of being. The project is part of Air Europa’s presence at one of the main events on the Madrid Pride calendar.
Daniel Chong, a designer of Chinese-Ecuadorian origin, studied design and communication at the University of Palermo in Argentina. His collections are produced in workshops in Madrid, Elche, Ubrique, and Pamplona, using local suppliers and organic, recycled, and sustainable materials.
Air Europa’s participation in MADO is part of the company’s initiatives regarding equality and diversity. The airline has an Equal Opportunities Plan, protocols for preventing workplace harassment, as well as sexual and sexual identity harassment, with specific training for its staff.
“Being the official airline of MADO for the eighth consecutive year reflects Air Europa’s firm and sustained commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion,” mentions Paloma Gutiérrez, Head of Equality and Diversity at Air Europa.
The Air Europa float, featuring a design created by Daniel Chong, participated in this year’s Madrid Pride 2026 parade.
