From September 10th to 30th, the display windows of Hotel Emperador on Madrid’s Gran Vía are hosting “DIÁLOGOS”. This exhibition, spearheaded by defloresyfloreros, brings together their work with that of designers Antonio Rabadán and Eduardo Ortega; the duo behind Señorito Ortega. The exhibit is framed within the firm’s 15th anniversary and previews pieces from its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, the thirtieth in its history.
The exhibit combines a selection from the new collection by defloresyfloreros – a Spanish handcrafted women’s footwear brand founded in 2011 that designs and manufactures entirely in Spain, producing around 70 models per season, using over 150 different raw materials with all the models conceived as exclusive pieces that are never reproduced once sold out – with creations by Antonio Rabadán, a multidisciplinary designer whose work explores the relationship between craftsmanship and innovation, and by Eduardo Ortega, who handcrafts bridal gowns and guest looks in his Cuenca atelier.
Leading the creative project at defloresyfloreros is Paloma Moreno, the firm’s CEO and creative director. She develops the conceptual process for each collection in Madrid before bringing each design to life through artisanal craftsmanship. “Madrid is a constant source of inspiration for me. Its cultural spaces, architecture, hotels, streets, and—above all—the people who make up the city fuel the creative process for every collection,” she explains.
