Mare Far Nientebrand presented its “Journey to Calmness” collection at Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida.
The collection pays tribute to the Mediterranean as a space of tranquility and contemplation. Inspired by the dolce far niente philosophy, the collection celebrates paused and serene enjoyment, understood as an act of beauty and resistance against haste. Each design feels like a meditation on the body and its relationship with the environment, inviting us to reconnect with what is essential through simplicity and unhurried movement.
The silhouettes flow naturally, soft and enveloping, almost liquid. The fabrics, light and tactile, accompany movement without imposing it. The color palette features a dialogue between the tones of the earth, the sea, and the sky—coral, khaki, terracotta, turquoise, and ochre—generating a warm, sensory harmony. The result is an atmosphere of luminous stillness, where craftsmanship and authenticity merge with calmness.
A reminder that beauty also lies in stopping, breathing and letting yourself be carried away by the sea’s rhythm.
