Firm SFK presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, ARIMA at 080 Barcelona Fashion. Under the concept of “Urban Vegetable Garden,” the brand bridges two realms central to its identity: urban culture and the vegetable garden.
The starting point is a simple idea: cultivation is, in itself, a creative act. Sowing, tending, and harvesting require time and attention, and SFK applies said logic to garments, understood as the result of a process where materials, craftsmanship, and the people involved matter. The collection draws inspiration from Basque rural culture and the daily life of the caserío. Tools, basketry, food, and everyday objects are repurposed for the runway, becoming thus a part of the contemporary visual language. Urbanity contributes a sense of community and expression, while the land provides memory and roots.
In these garments, streetwear blends with workwear to create a uniform where functionality dictates the design. Pockets, carrying systems, aprons and tool pouches are integrated into the construction of the pieces, shifting conventional proportions. The silhouette is constructed through utility, transforming how the garment relates to the body.
With ARIMA, SKFK reconnects with streetwear culture, bringing it into the realm of workwear; a space where the design begins with what the garment actually allows the wearer to do.
