Firm Yolancris, under the creative direction of Yolanda Pérez, presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, OPHELIA. Inspired by a garden in full bloom, the collection considers the flower a structural element, utilizing embroidery, 3-D appliqués, and layering to create the garments volume.
The collection explores the boundary between nature and craftsmanship, proposing a free-spirited, poetic femininity rooted in the artisanal processes that define the House. Floral motifs are reimagined through botanical illustrations, jacquards, embroidery, and dimensional appliqués; flowers emerge from the fabric itself, overlapping to create a sense of movement.
Organza, crepe, washed silk, and lace are combined through layering, pleating, and hand-crafted textile manipulation. Silhouettes alternate between soft structures and fluid lines that follow the body’s contours; lightweight dresses coexist with voluminous pieces constructed from layers, petals, and draping.
The color palette evokes a garden at dawn: ivory, off-white, dusty rose, buttery yellow, soft green, lavender, and watercolor blue hues, accented by more intense tones that highlight the flowers in full bloom.
In OPHELIA each flower is constructed from hand-crafted layers and petals, gaining volume on the garment.
