ModaEspaña, the platform created by the ModaEspaña Confederation, participates in the forthcoming Marcathlon / Brandathlon 2016 to fight against the counterfeiting that brands endure in our country.
The race against counterfeiting, held on June 4th in Madrid, Anti-Counterfeiting World Day, has two important activities: on the one hand a gymkhana in which participants can discover the importance and benefits brands provide to society, and on the other hand, the race. With a total of 5.2 km, it will show the path that local and global brands from all sectors have to travel until they reach the final consumer, investment in R + D + I, paying taxes, social security, employment, quality and safety guarantees … etc.
The ModaEspaña Confederation was founded in 2013 and is chaired by Angel Asensio. It is responsible for bringing together the entire value chain of fashion in our country. The most representative sectorial entities such as ACME or the Spanish Confederation of Textile Trade (CECOTEX) are participants, among others.
