Madrid hosted at the Hotel Wellington the opening of SIMOF with a Victorio & Lucchino fashion show, celebrating three decades of flamenco fashion in the capital.
The Seville-based firm opened the event with the 2026 collection, “Flapper’s Dream”, a collection inspired by the flapper, the young and modern woman of the 1920s associated with a free attitude and a distinctive aesthetic.
The fashion show marks the start of the program of events, bringing together industry professionals and specialized media at the start of the week dedicated to flamenco fashion.
The collection takes the imagery of those years as its starting point, translating it to the runway through light and ornate constructions. Chiffon, velvet, and lace articulate the silhouettes, while the color palette ranges from pastel shades, green and terracotta, to purple, midnight blue, and gold.
