AB Fashion Day was held on November 18th, its eighth edition, at the city’s Palacio de Congresos with the presence of the catwalk’s resident designers with innovative proposals. Also, names heard for the first time in Albacete with their latest collections to surprise us: Devota & Lomba, Otrura and Raquel López participated in Albacete’s catwalk.
Devota y Lomba presented at ABF DAY 2023 the collecion ‘Fuente de la Fama‘ aesthetically inspired by the late 18th century baroque style that decorated Madrid’s urban landscape, clashing with the firm’s minimalist seal. As usual Devota & Lomba claimed once again the unique and permanent piece, as less is more.
Otrura, winner of the 2021 L’Oréal Award for Best Collection, presented in Albacete his Spring/Summer 2024 collection, which he premiered during New York Fashion Week last September. Movement XIV “Re-Write” is a testament to Otrura’s commitment to innovation, fluidity and the art of movement. We enjoyed a collection inspired by the word Re_Write and its semantics.
The inspiration for the Ácrona collection by Raquel López is based on timelessness where craftsmanship, together with the value of design becomes the protagonists. Beyond trends, in search of a unique bride, where noble materials and the recovery of ancient fabrics come together, and give way to exclusivity in an environment where sustainability is one of the most important elements.
