Blue reveals eternity

Fashion firm Hannibal Laguna presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, his "Lazuliflow" collection. A collection that transforms blue into a symbolic territory, navigating between reality and spirituality, between the sea and femininity. The designer suggests a journey into the depth with this collection, where fashion becomes a ritual, and elegance unfolds as an inevitable destiny.

Inspired by the sacred power of the ocean, and the silhouettes of Ancient Greece, "Lazuliflow" is expressed in tunics, capes, and asymmetrical dresses, echoing the Hellenic style to reinterpret it for a contemporary audience. Embroideries on sheer fabrics evoke flowers and corals, while chiffon emerges like sea foam and organza unfolds like sails in the wind. It is a journey where each texture appears to speak of the movement of water and of the memories held within the sea.

The color palette comprises countless shades of blue: navy, petrol, sapphire, lapis lazuli, and turquoise—symbols of the connection between sky and ocean, between night and day. Embroidered crystals trace shimmering patterns like scales, in a play of reflections and transparencies that transforms each garment into a moving work of art, a living legacy.

"Lazuliflow" reveals itself as a meditation on femininity and essentiality: where the sea and the sky meet, where nostalgia and promise converge in a single, harmonious gesture.
