DOMINNICO: Excess and Precision

16/03/2026

The DOMINNICO firm, under the creative direction of Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro, presented a capsule collection at OMODA Madrid es Moda that connects the 1980s visual energy with the textile tradition of the legacy Korean dress. DOMINNICO observes their structures, layers and volume logic, translating them into a contemporary language where intensity and control coexist. The collection moves between two mutually reinforcing impulses: theatrical maximalism and a more refined, functional line.

The collection begins with geometric compositions based on the square, which are translated onto the body through the use of satin, generating shine as well as contrast on clean surfaces. Volume appears in statement pieces such as leg warmers, fur jackets, and feather appliqués that amplify the silhouette. In contrast, Harrington jackets introduce an overly restrained pause. The palette ranges from brown, off-white, and pink, while tulle with sequins and prints, imported from Korea, add texture and visual rhythm.

In this intersection of codes, the collection understands contrast as a natural form of construction.
