Eduardo Navarrete’s turning point

13/09/2023

Eduardo Navarrete presents his 10.1 collection within the off calendar of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid inspired by the symbolism of the number 10, which encourages us to consciously start over. The fashion designer highlights craftsmanship and traditional dressmaking with 10 looks presented on a mannequin.

The collection, a turning point for the fashion creator, is made up of dark tones with occasional white figures, seeking evening elegance through noble fabrics such as satin, moiré, velvet or jacquard, which arise with artisanal techniques through hand crafted embedded rhinestones.

For the first time, Eduardo Navarrete leaves behind his fun garments recognizable by the use of digital printing to present a high fashion imaginary, sober and elegant, which is reflected in feminine silhouettes that range from asymmetrical cuts to open backs together with large volumes which show up crowned by large hats, shoulder pads and marabou feathers.
