Empowerment and tradition define Javier Delafuente

21/03/2025

I let her go and she flew away” is Javier Delafuente‘s new capsule collection presented at Madrid es Moda.

The collection, which was shown at Próxima Estación, fuses his Andalusian roots with a message of female empowerment.

Through colors, sounds, and scents from his childhood, the fashion designer creates a collection that balances tradition with avant-garde.

Delafuente reinterprets classic patterns with architectural volumes and modern details. Sustainable technical fabrics blend with natural ones, such as silk, which envelops the body with a fluidity that symbolises freedom. Meanwhile, the colors and floral prints evoke Andalusia’s rich traditions.
