Miguel Marinero’s brides

10/09/2018

Fashion brand Miguel Marinero, after successfully placing a bet during the last three fashion seasons for textile design, has decided to take another step forward and dedicate its tailoring expertise to shape onto paper designs for brides, making them a reality. The sum of textile quality plus a perfect pattern and individual attention result in the essence of the wedding dress by Miguel Marinero.

In this manner and away from standard collections, the brand accompanies each bride in what the designers call a 360º wedding. The fashion brand’s creators choose the best essential materials to design the dress and can even advise on the choice of accessories and decorative motifs of the celebration.

Miguel Marinero’s brides highlight the careful patronage that distils tailoring and femininity inspired by styles from the fashion brand’s own collections. All this, together with a personal dose of romanticism that motivates such a special day as a wedding, make up a beautiful mixture of sweetness and character.

The company’s designers place at the disposal of future brides their artisan, creative hands, in their studio in Calle Zurbano 37 in Madrid. A meeting point between creator and bride that is outside the usual circuit of ateliers, which has recently opened thanks to the trust and demand passed down from generation to generation in this family business.

Miguel Marinero opened his first atelier in Madrid in 1982, after designing high fur collections for Irueste, El Corte Inglés and Cortefiel. In his atelier in the centre of Madrid, he creates exclusive leather garments and accessories in an artisanal way. His designs are shown since 2007 at Madrid Fashion Week. With the arrival of his son, Nicolás Marinero, to the creative team, the company is undergoing a renovation phase incorporating new techniques, patterns and materials to the leather industry, as well as entering the world of ready-to-wear.
