Leyre Valiente began her career in the fashion world after finishing her degree in Audiovisual Communication. After working in the wardrobe departments of many film and TV productions, she began a Fashion Design Degree in IED Madrid. Her final project in this college received an honourable mention in 2011, year in which she was included in the supplement “Talents” of Vogue Italy as one of the emerging talents in European fashion.
After passing through the creative teams of global fashion brands such as Alexander McQueen and Loewe, the Madrid designer founded her own signature brand and opened her own flagship store in Madrid. In 2014 Leyre Valiente debuts in the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid schedule. Since 2017, she has combined her work at the head of her own brand with that of creative director at Kimoa.[:]
