LOLA CASADEMUNT Celebrates 45 Years

LOLA CASADEMUNT celebrated its 45th anniversary with a fashion show in Barcelona, held at La Llotja de Mar, where “La Joya”, the Spring/Summer 2027 collection was presented. The fashion brand, founded in 1981 by Lola Casademunt, commemorated over four decades of history with an event that brought together representatives from the fashion world, personalities associated with the brand, and prominent figures from Barcelona society. Names such as Nieves Álvarez, Vanesa Lorenzo, Judit Mascó, Laura Sánchez, and Verónica Blume walked the runway.

La Joya” takes Barcelona, the city where the fashion brand was born, as its starting point, constructing a collection marked by color, prints, and ornamental details. Modernist architecture, sun lit stained-glass windows, and the city’s visual richness appears in flowing dresses, structured silhouettes, tailored pieces, garments with bejeweled embellishments, and accessories conceived as an essential part of the fashion narrative.

The collection features materials such as leather, chiffon, mikado, denim, tweed with lurex, knitwear, Tencel, and poplin. Embroidery, sequins, bejeweled fringes, and floral appliqués coexist with prints inspired by flowers, paisley motifs, vertical stripes, and animal print—one of LOLA CASADEMUNT’s signature elements.

Since its origin as a hair accessory atelier, the company has evolved into a women’s fashion brand with presence in Spain as well as in 46 international markets. In recent years, under the presidency and creative direction of Maite Casademunt, the fashion brand has embarked on a new phase focused on growth, professionalization, and international expansion.

To mark its anniversary, LOLA CASADEMUNT is preparing various special events throughout the year, including commemorative events in cities such as Paris, Milan, Warsaw, and Lisbon, as well as the launch of a selection of Special Edition pieces. The brand is also working on rebranding, with the new image to be unveiled in early 2027.

“Turning 45 is both a source of pride and a great responsibility. At LOLA CASADEMUNT, we continue to evolve without losing our essence, with the dream and enthusiasm to keep growing and taking our brand to new horizons,” states Maite Casademunt.
