The third edition of the Fundación Academia de la Moda Española Awards announced its nominees at CIPE Museo del Traje. The gala will be held on June 30th at the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío, hosted by Jesús Vázquez, and broadcast live on La 2, TVE Internacional, and RTVE Play.
The Fundación Academia de la Moda Española (FAME), driven primarily by the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), presented this year’s edition’s new features, expanding its venue as well as the number of attendees. Rafael Muñoz, TVE journalist, and a member of the Academia, and Susana Cruz, founder and Creative Director of SUMA CRUZ, announced the finalists in each category.
Juan Duyos and Sergio Álvarez, President and Director of FAME respectively, participated in the event, along with María Eizaguirre, Director of Communication and Engagement at RTVE. Pepa Bueno, Vice President of FAME and Executive Director of ACME, also attended the presentation.
The awards, organized by FAME and RTVE, acknowledges careers and projects in Spanish fashion across 13 categories. All nominated proposals were presented or developed during 2025 and selected from over 250 submissions by the Academy’s more than 130 members.

The Fundación Academia de la Moda Española Awards acknowledges the careers and other creative, business, and technical aspects of the entire Spanish fashion industry. They honor brands, designers, artisans, companies, and projects that comprise the fashion industry through 13 categories, ensuring the accurate representation of the entire ecosystem, which is both broad and diverse.

In accordance with the Rules of the Fundación Academia de la Moda Española Awards, in the event of a tie in the number of votes between the fifth and sixth candidates, a tiebreaker will be announced. And said category may exceptionally have six nominated candidates.
The gala will also feature two special awards, the International Award and the Honorary Award, granted by the FAME Board of Trustees. The winners will receive a sculpture created by Helena Rohner in memory of Cristóbal Balenciaga.
