Luis Berrendero presented at OMODA Madrid es Moda his new guest collection, La Prima Volta, in a static presentation held at his atelier on Calle Alcalá. The timeless collection is inspired by the emotion of first times: the grand celebration, the event that remains in our memories, the dress that defines who you are.
The collection translates this idea through a contemporary couture vision, where structure and movement coexist in refined silhouettes. The fabric selection is meticulous: crepe, taffeta, tulle, and crisp poplin evoke Italian textile traditions, lending definition, lightness, and movement to each piece, in a serene elegance that takes the center stage at every moment.
The presentation took place in the designer’s new space in the heart of Madrid, conceived as a showroom-fitting room where visitors can closely observe the tailoring and finishing touches. A display of dress shapes accompanies the tour, highlighting the creative process and craftsmanship behind each design. Berrendero was present throughout the day to share La Prima Volta’s key elements and bring the collection’s world closer to the audience.
Opening the atelier itself and showcasing the process, not just the finished garment, transforms the event into an exploration of the craft as well as the collection.
