Madrid es Moda, Best Fashion Event acknowledgement at the Nebrija Events Awards 2025

30/05/2025

Madrid es Moda has been recognized as the Best Fashion Event at the Nebrija Events Awards 2025, an award that highlights its importance in promoting Spanish design and author fashion. The ceremony took place last Thursday, May 29th, at the Faculty of Communication and Arts of Nebrija University (Francisco de Sales Campus, Madrid), as part of the fourth edition of these awards organized by the Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communication, Protocol, and Event Planning students.

This recognition highlights the cultural, commercial, and creative impact of Madrid es Moda, underlining its fundamental role in promoting emerging and established talent from the Spanish fashion scenario. The event was also recognized for its innovative approach to presenting fashion in the city, as well as for its commitment to bringing the work of Spanish designers, artisans, and brands closer to the general public and the urban fabric.

The award was presented by Juan Carlos Mesa, creative director of Maison Mesa, and received by Almudena Heredero, general coordinator of Madrid es Moda (MeM).

Since its creation in 2015 by the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), and as a part of the program Madrid Capital de Moda, Madrid es Moda has been held twice a year, coinciding with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. With a schedule that combines fashion shows, urban interventions, window displays, and cultural experiences, it has managed to revitalize local commerce, expand its contact points with the public, and generate new business opportunities for author fashion.

The award granted by Nebrija University not only consolidates Madrid es Moda as a trailblazer event in the fashion sector, but also acknowledges its role as a catalyst for new urban narratives regarding fashion and its commitment to boosting Spanish design from a contemporary, open, and collaborative perspective.
