Marcos Luengo and his ode to light and colour

Marcos Luengo is inspired by the work post-impressionist artist Joaquim Mir to create his fall / winter 2019-2020 collection. Light and colour are the central motifs of the fashion proposals by the Asturian designer.

As if it were a blank canvas, Marcos Luengo fills the MBFWM runway with expressive brushstrokes full of colour. Purple, yellow, red, blue, orange or green stains a collection in which he returns to play with overlays.

Pleated, laminated napkins, pony skin ... The designer puts into practice with his new proposals his know-how in fur. Marcos Luengo’s evening looks are full of rich and shiny fabrics such as silk velvet and satin, which are adorned with embroidery, pleats or ostrich feathers to achieve looks full of personality and originality.
