Menchén Tomàs and Custo Barcelona present their spring-summer 2015 collections at 080 Barcelona Fashion Week held in the Recinto Modernista of Sant Pau.
Under the tittle The Botanist, the label Menchén Thomas, made up by Olga Menchén and Françesc Grau, presented their collection. The organic shapes of floral botanical inspired the creations by the Catalan duo, reflected in shirt dresses and volumetric compositions that play with the female silhouette. Overlays of garments, frills, cowl necklines and metallic details are the code to a collection in which abounds yellow and timeless black and white.
Prints with geometric shapes are the hallmark of the designs by Custo Barcelona. For next summer, the label opts for contrasting fabrics and textures that create different silhouettes. Mini dresses and shorts with an evasèe cut and transparencies are the basis of their summer proposals, which gives noted prominence to the swimwear line. In the proposals for men he is more inclined towards mono colour in very light garments.
