The Galician designer joins the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, adding with his arrival 74 associated designer fashion brands.
The robertodiz brand was created in 2002 led by the fashion creator of the same name, a label that combines perfectly classic and modern through designs that are characterized by their elegance and transgressive touch. With his incorporation to ACME, the association reaffirms its commitment to grow representing our country’s author fashion sector.
“My incorporation to ACME means taking another step towards the renewal of my brand, as well as the security and strength that being part of this association contributes to the firm,” says Roberto Diz.
Linked to the couture trade from a very young age, Diz discovered his passion for fashion in his grandmother’s atelier. After completing his fashion studies in several international schools, he worked hand in hand with maestro Elio Berhanyer for three years, a stage that he considers decisive in his career.
Since arriving in Andalusia, where he undertook his solo career, robertodiz is one of the favourite designers of aristocrats and socialites in southern Spain. In the last fifteen years, his company has been growing and his designs have crossed borders, showing in cities like London, Paris and Tokyo. His arrival at points of sale in Monaco, Kuwait and Qatar has confirmed that the firm is in a clear process of international expansion, but without losing sight of his studios in Seville and Madrid, where he carries out a multitude of bridal designs, which have raised him as a reference in Spanish bridal fashion, as well as sophisticated bespoke creations.
Timeless and away from trends, his unique style has made him one of the fashion brands with most personality in Spanish fashion, and one of the latest additions to the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid fashion show calendar, runway to which he returns to embark on a new stage in January 2019.
Innovation in the use of materials, impeccable confection and his personal mixture of classicism and transgression are reflected in each and every one of Robertodiz’s professional projects, among which are new challenges such as the bridal prêt-à-porter collection for Victoria, and a shoe collection that will be released in the coming months.[:]
