Tous School celebrates its fifth anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to the preservation of the jewellery craft

23/11/2023

TOUS School, the socio-educational project of the jewellery firm, celebrates its fifth anniversary and reaffirms its commitment to the preservation of the jewellery craft with new initiatives, such as the alliance with Puerto Rico’s School of Plastic Arts to create a line of studies about jewellery unique in the country. The company, based on its commitment to the craft and following its corporate purpose, WE CRAFT A WORLD OF JOY, finances the costs of this new educational line and coordinates the teaching team.

Since 2018, the jewellery firm has impacted more than 340 students through this scholarship and training system, which since 2020 is also accessible digitally. In this way, the jewellery firm takes the people selected to participate in the program to its headquarters. And during this stay, under the guidance of an artisan mentor with more than two decades of experience at TOUS, they learn the art of restoration in a practical way. The rest of the class, from the centres that are part of the program, also access theoretical training digitally.

In this sense, TOUS School has a key role in the future of the company, since it is an essential pillar to help preserve craftsmanship, with a special focus on restoration, an element that has always differentiated the company, and is essential to ensure that the pieces are passed from generation to generation.
