The emblematic brand, leader in the affordable luxury segment, becomes a member of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, which totals 72 associated companies with its arrival. With the incorporation of TOUS, one of the most recognized Spanish global brands, the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España reaffirms its intention to grow and continues its commitment regarding the adhesion of new jewellery brands and accessories.

From its beginnings in the jewellery sector in 1920, TOUS promotes a corporate culture based on values such as legacy, commitment and creativity. Currently TOUS is a global brand, present in more than 50 countries and with 700 stores. With more than 4.000 professionals in their team, the company generated sales of 446 million euros during 2017.

TOUS stands out for its great creative capacity and level of innovation, which allows it to surprise its customers every season. Currently, TOUS launches 30 new jewellery collections and 50 handbag collections a year. Jewellery is the company’s main business and, due to its success, at the end of the 20th century TOUS began to diversify its offer creating a wide range of accessories: handbags, fragrances, watches, eyewear, baby and other accessories.

The jewellery creations set the guidelines for other product lines and, under the strict supervision of the company’s style management, led by Marta Tous, follow her mother’s, Rosa Oriol, legacy. This jewellery inspiration is palpable in all the categories. Likewise, each TOUS article conveys tenderness, fun and youthfulness of spirit, reflecting the brand’s values, transmitting the company’s soul, which is globally recognized by its iconic bear. For more than 30 years of history, the brand’s emblem has thrilled all kinds of people, and has become an amulet for many.

Committed to the recovery of a historic craft such as jewellery, TOUS has recently created the TOUS School of Jewellery and Artisan Crafts, a pioneering project of educational excellence with which crafts are promoted as a way of professional training for young students from the best schools and workshops around the world. The initiative, which responds to the will to defend jewellery as a cultural asset, will allow to broadcast and to share with society the knowledge and the excellence of the TOUS jewellery techniques.

TOUS’ commitment with training is in line with the work of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, that every year participates actively in the programming of studies of Degrees, courses of specialization, and masters of fashion, to promote quality training of the sectors’ future professionals.[:]
