Two worlds in dialogue

Ernesto Naranjo and ManéMané presented their Spring/Summer 2026 collections at Madrid es Moda in an exhibit format held at the Cupra City Garage. The concept was structured as a dialogue between two distinct creative universes finding common ground in their reflections on contemporary fashion, and its creative processes. The result is a shared space where ideas intersect generating a unified message that transcends individual perspectives.

ManéMané's collection delves into the "montehermoso" folklore, revisiting its most iconic forms. Traditional silhouettes are reinterpreted in complex, contemporary garments, where tradition becomes the seed for renewal. The cultural heritage is not presented as a relic, but as a living, evolving element transformed with sensitivity in search for an identity that understands change as a natural continuity.

On the other hand, Ernesto Naranjo constructs a narrative that balances geometry and lightness. His garments are characterized by layering, transparencies and draped fabrics that cast fluid, ethereal shadows. Color appears as a subtle accent, suggesting movement, while tulle, satin, and stretch fabrics create a fluid, almost dreamlike rhythm. Overall, his collection is a tribute to the equilibrium between formal precision and the ephemeral nature of that which is intangible.

Presented in dialogue, both collections reveal how memory and lightness can coexist in fashion as complementary languages. This contrast and harmony exercise invites us to consider creativity from a pluralistic perspective.
