On October 12th, MALNE opened Mediterránea Fashion Week València’s fifth edition. The haute couture label founded by Paloma Álvarez and Juanjo Mánez launched the event at TATEL Valencia with “La Femme”, their Summer 2027 collection, presented without a traditional runway; the models, being instead integrated directly in the venue itself.
The collection draws inspiration from women who have shaped French fashion’s imagination, such as Inès de La Fressange, Loulou de La Falaise, Françoise Hardy, Audrey Tautou, and Marion Cotillard, and the distinct representations of femininity each embodies. Lace, rustic silks, organza, silk crepe, chiffon, and mikado fabrics define a collection that balances structure with fluidity, all grounded in the firm’s commitment to craftsmanship.
Following the opening by MALNE, Mediterránea Fashion Week continued on October 13th and 14th at the Petxina Sports and Cultural Complex, located in Valencia’s former Matadero Municipal, featuring designers from Romania, Russia, Turkey, Honduras, and Nicaragua, alongside Spanish and Valencian firms.
