Áurea, the bridal geometry of Luis Infantes

17/03/2026

Luis Infantes presented his capsule collection Áurea at OMODA Madrid es Moda, a bridal proposal conceived as a study in proportion and harmony. The presentation took place at Serrería Belga through an installation of twelve dresses on mannequins accompanied by campaign images. The collection is aimed at 2027 brides, placing pattern making at the heart of the creative process.

The golden ratio serves as a conceptual starting point. This mathematical relationship, present in nature, is translated here into the language of couture, where the balance between the parts defines the construction of each piece. The designer approaches the wedding dress as an exercise in precision, where shape and proportion determine the body’s presence.

Mikado, crepe, and silk organza make-up the collection’s textile base, together with hand embroidery, linen with sequins, and internal structures that enhance volume. The silhouettes are constructed from circles, triangles and squares, transferring the geometric logic to the body with an architectural account of the dress.
