Adlib Ibiza, the fashion seal promoted by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa (Council of Ibiza), has joined the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) as a new associate. With this membership, Ibiza’s fashion hallmark, which organised the first modern fashion show held in Spain, in 1971, has become part of the leading network for Spanish designer fashion.
Adlib Ibiza currently comprises 14 fashion and accessories firms: Dolors Miró Ibiza, Elisa Pomar Ibiza, Espardenyes Torres, Estrivancus, Ibimoda, Ibiza Stones, Ivanna Mestres, K de Kosekose, Monika Maxim Ibiza, Piluca Bayarri, S72 Hat, Tony Bonet, Vintage Ibiza, and Virginia Vald.
The fashion seal’s membership to ACME strengthens the presence of Ibiza’s fashion on the national scene and acknowledges a creative approach linked to the territory, to craftsmanship, to sustainability, and to its unique identity. Since 1971, Adlib Ibiza has cultivated a distinctive style rooted in the island’s traditions, respect for the environment, and a philosophy closely aligned with slow fashion.
“Adlib Ibiza’s membership to ACME adds to the Association a project with a highly recognizable identity, deeply connected to the land, to craftsmanship, and with a vision of fashion based on creative freedom. Adlib Ibiza represents an essential part of Spanish fashion history, and its membership strengthens the diversity, cultural richness, and visibility of Spanish designer fashion,” states Pepa Bueno, Executive Director of ACME.
This membership is part of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa’s strategy to strengthen the island’s fashion sector, support its designers, and consolidate Adlib Ibiza’s position as a leading force in the industry, both locally as well as globally.
