Designer Félix Ramiro has been granted the 2026 Rural Development and Sustainability Award by Toledo’s Provincial Council, which acknowledges his professional career as well as his contribution to the economic and business development in rural areas.
The award acknowledges the work of Toledo-born designer at the helm of a men’s tailoring firm that has grown from Menasalbas, his hometown, keeping there the operations, team and an essential part of his identity. The Provincial Council highlighted his ability to consolidate a leading company nationally without severing ties with his region.
With more than three decades of experience, Félix Ramiro has established himself as one of the leading names in Spanish menswear, particularly in tailoring and formal wear. His project has been built on design, tailoring, and craftsmanship, but also on a business approach linked to employment and local development.
The company currently employs a team of approximately 50 people, supplying clients in various countries from its headquarters in Menasalbas. Its operations maintain a direct link with the municipality, which is affected by depopulation, and from where it has developed a stable business structure within the designer fashion sector..
“Receiving this recognition is a tremendous source of pride. We have always believed that it is possible to grow, innovate, and carry the name of our region throughout Spain and beyond without losing our essence,” stated Félix Ramiro.
The award ceremony took place this Saturday at an event organized by Toledo’s Provincial Council, alongside other professionals, organizations, and projects linked to rural development.
