ACME incorporates four new labels

22/12/2017

Duarte, brand specializing in men’s fashion; Fely Campo, specialist in festive and ceremonial fashion; luxury accessories label Reliquiae and young duo The Stoat, enter and join ACME.

The Asociacion de Creadores de Moda de España, with these new incorporations, shows that it is in full growth stage, currently clustering under its acronym 66 Associates among which are leading Spanish fashion design companies.

Brand Duarte was created in 2015. Formed by Carlos Duarte and Francisco Font, it is specialized in men’s fashion, but also creates women’s collections. Currently, their proposals may be purchased in multi-brand stores in Spain and Germany. The brand also prepares its entry into Denmark, Sweden and Belgium for next season, while finalizing the details of the opening of its first store in Madrid, scheduled for June 2018. Its latest collection was presented with a fashion show at COAM, as part of the off schedule of MBFWM.

Fely Campo is a designer with more than 20 years experience, specializing in women’s fashion. In 1994 she opened her own store in Salamanca and in 2003 she made the international leap to participate in trade shows such as Who’s Next Paris, Sposa Italia or Barcelona Bridal Week, among others, which has opened the doors of specialized stores in countries such as Kuwait, Germany , Belgium, Italy or the United Kingdom, as well as multi-brand outlets throughout Spain. She has just inaugurated a new atelier, a unique space from which to boost her creativity.

Héctor Jareño, artistic director of Reliquiae, took charge of the family leather goods business, founded by his father at the end of the 50s in Asturias, converting it into a Spanish luxury benchmark. With a marked global vision, it has a relevant presence in the oriental market, where the brand has consolidated distribution through its collaboration with Japanese jeweller Tasaki, one of the most important retailers in the luxury segment. After a capital increase, Reliquiae is currently focussed in its expansion stage and is preparing to open its flagship store on calle Serrano in Madrid.

Carlos Paredes Jiménez and Renato Ruffoni Giusti are the founders of label The Stoat, two young designers trained in the school Confianza de Sastrería and in the Centre for Fashion Design in Madrid. Their label reviews the classic roots of tailoring, both male and female, to give it a modern and comfortable touch. With four collections in the market, their creations have passed by the red carpet of the Goya Awards or the Malaga Film Festival, and their latest collection was presented with a fashion show, forming part of MBFWM’s off schedule.[:]
