Pitti Uomo starts with the participation of Oteyza

13/06/2017

The 92nd edition of the menswear trade show Pitti Imagine Uomo takes off in Florence (Italy), which will take place from the 13th to 16th of June at Fortezza da Basso. For four days the Florentine city becomes the world capital of design for men. There, the main firms of the sector arrive to show their collections to buyers and international press. A not-to-be-missed date complemented by an extensive schedule of activities around fashion such as events, exhibitions, presentations, pop up stores or performances.

In this edition, Pitti has a significant presence of Made in Spain, and this is because 39 Spanish brands will present during this trade show their fashion creations and men’s accessories for the spring-summer season of 2018. Among them is one of our associated brands: Oteyza.

Led by Paul Garcia de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda, Oteyza will be during these days at the MAKE section, stand nº4, located, for the first time, in the Sala della Ronda, sharing space with other relevant menswear fashion designers from countries all over the world. After six seasons participating in this trade show, Oteyza will showcase a special gala and evening collection as well as a series of unique pieces that seek to reinterpret classic masculine dress. The brand from Madrid breaks the paradigms of dress codes and offers a powerful message of renewal and balanced transgression, underlining their respect for tradition and maintaining a strong impetus and their Spanish style.

With 92 editions to their credit, Pitti Uomo evolves every season making research its banner. Always attentive to capture the trends of the sector and to carry out with them untapped projects that look to the future, Pitti has become the most important global platform of men’s fashion.
