Custo Barcelona and García Madrid participate in 080

27/06/2016

Two ACME designers, Custo Barcelona and García Madrid, present their proposals for next season spring-summer 2017 at 080 Barcelona Fashion, being held in the INEFC (National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia) between 27th June and 1st of July.

Custo Barcelona is in charge of closing the third day of the Barcelona runway presenting his collection “Next“. His new proposal focuses on sport sensuality and oversize garments to reformulate the feminine silhouette. Metallic accents, crystal shine, crochet and guipure are the elements that predominate in his pieces. Colours such as petal rose, sand, white, blue, emerald, tangerine and fuchsia fill up with colour sophisticated and comfortable garments. For men he follows the same sporty trend, opting for simple pieces, openwork fabrics and transparencies.

The signature label García Madrid reaches a decade in the fashion world, and celebrates it by opening a new store in Barcelona and his fashion show in 080. In his new collection, named “Number 22”, Manuel Garcia proposes new compositions, textures, colours and silhouettes. On this occasion he has used natural fabrics such as cotton, wool voile or kid mohair, all without renouncing to experiment with technological fabrics. García Madrid combines to perfection classic tailoring cuts with unusual fabrics. Furthermore the signature label presents amazing pieces, reinventing denim with new yarns and new colours. A wide range of blues now add mint green, lavender and oil.
