Jorge Vázquez begins his professional career in the Inditex group. After studying fashion design, he joined the creative team of fashion brands such as Antonio Pernas and Ángel Schlesser, and he entered the world of accessories working for brand Fun & Basics.
In 2002 he debuted with his own signature label at Madrid Fashion Week presenting his first women’s fashion collection. During 2006, he collaborated with Loewe designing for the women’s ready-to-wear line. In parallel, since 2004, Jorge Vázquez has combined the presentation of his collections with his collaborations for El Corte Inglés department store. After a stage away from the official runway, Jorge Vázquez returns to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid in 2016.[:]
