Finalists of the III Edition of the Premios Nacionales de la Moda

The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism announced the final nominees of the III Edition of the National Fashion Awards.

The National Fashion Designer Award is divided into two categories: on the one hand, the National Award for Lifetime Achievement for which the designers nominated are: Helena Rohner, Roberto Torretta and Pili Carrera. On the other hand, the National Award for New Value, the finalists being: García Madrid, Maya Hansen and Maria Ke Fisherman. ACME designer Dolores Cortés, is finalist for the National Award for SME Sector Industry Fashion, for which are also nominated Acosta, Neck & Neck, Natura Bissé and Dolores Promesas.

The award ceremony will take place the following month of July, during which will also receive awards the following categories: National Award Academy and Culture, National Award for Communication in the Fashion Sector, National Award to the Leading Textile Industry and National Award to Industry Entrepreneurship in the Fashion Sector.

The Premios Nacionales de la Moda, – National Fashion Awards, were created in 2013 to acknowledge the merit and endorse the prestige of the Spanish fashion industry in our society, by acknowledging the individuals, institutions, organizations and industries that have made a significant effort to achieve business excellence in this sector.

These awards have contributed to extol Spanish fashion as a source of economic growth and generator of employment.[:]
