The Minions dress in Spanish Fashion

16/06/2015

The designers Roberto Verino, Davidelfín and Devota & Lomba participate in the solidarity project “Minions in Art” organized by Universal Pictures International Spain in favour of UNICEF. This initiative aims to raise funds for the “Schools for Africa” program.

“Minions in Art” is a project that consists of several pieces: firstly it has accomplished an artistic action where well-known faces of the Spanish panorama, among which are our three associates, had to personalize a canvas with their own Minion. Said works are exhibited in various marquees and kiosk faces in the streets of Madrid between 16th and 22nd of June. Finally, the works will be auctioned through the online platform eBay with a minimum bid of € 120, where they will be available for purchase until 25th of June.

This fun project has counted with the participation of personalities such as Miranda Makaroff (daughter of our associated designer Lydia Delgado and designer of the label), actors Penelope Cruz and Dani Rovira, film director Pedro Almodovar and comedian Florentino Fernandez, among others.

Furthermore, another method has been enabled to collaborate without bidding. By SMS to 38080 with the word MINIONS UNICEF, € 4 will be donated in the initiative.
